The Central Zoo Authority in association with Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, Pune and Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune organized the first six day training workshop from 1st to 6th December 2008 on the International Species Inventory System Software, Animal Record Keepers’ Software, which deals with various aspects of zoo management. The workshop was for attended by 30 Zoo Keepers and Zoo Directors from the Western and Southern Zone. This workshop provided hands on laboratory training with ARKS.
